Ancak tecrübesizlikten solsa gerek, çıkarken değil de dönüşte yapıyorum! geçtiğimiz hafta blogda hiç bir girişin yer almamasının nedeni doların akibetine ilişkin hiç bir gelişme olmadığndan değil, zat-ı çakerileri yıllıkizninin bir bölümünü kullanıp kendini haberlerden soyutlamaya çalıştığı içindir.
Ancak izindeyken bile moda tabiriyle "piyasaların nabzını" kontrol etmekten geri durmadım. Hazır klişe tavırlardayken onu da belirteyim.
Efendim, geçen hafta esnafın ve halkın durumunu ilk elden konuşmak için mobilya sektöründe perakendecilik yapan bir arkadaşımı ziyaret ettim. Onunla olan muhabbetimizin satır aralarına gizlenen bazı önemli iktisadi tespitleri belirtmek isterim.
Mobilyacı arkadaş şimdiye kadar "tuzu kuru" diye tabir edilebilecek kesimden biri olmasına rağmen bu defa çok moralsizdi. "Siftahsız kapattıkları günkler olduğunu, bir hafta boyunca dükkanda yaptıkları toplam satışın sadece 1300-TL olduğunu, bu rakamın her tarafı kar olsa bile dükkanın yağını kavurmasının zor olduğunu" söylüyordu. Kendi ağzından devam edersek;
"* İnsanların ihtiyacı var ancak satın alma güçleri yok. Ucuz, hatta ikinci el mobilya soruyorlar! * Şimdiye kadar hiç borç takmayan tanıdıklar bile borçlarını ödemiyor. Bi kaç senedini ödedikten sonra 100-150 liralık taksidi dahi ödeyemeyenler var. İşi bozulmuş, üzerine gidemiyoruz. * Taksit isteyenler, "kışa kadar" taksitlerini bitirmek istiyor. Kışın çok daha fazla zorlanacaklarını düşünüyorlar. Taksit sayısını hesaplarken, kışın gelecek olan "doğalgaz faturasını" hesaba katıyorlar ve doğalgaz faturaları başlamadan bitecekse takside giriyor! * Satış olmamasına rağmen, 2-3 yıldır sabit olan hammadde ve toptancı fiyatları artıyor! Süngerci de, kumaşçı da, suntacı da fiyatlarını son 2-3 ay içinde %15 civarında artırdı. Bu artış baharla birlikte mobilya talebinin artmasıyla alakalı olabilir ama önceki 2-3 yılda hiç artış olmamıştı. Şimdi talep düşmesine rağmen artırıyorlar çünkü sanırım stoklar tüklend, yeni imalat pahalı. Olan biz eoluyor, maliyet artsa da fiyatlara yansıtamıyor, kar marjımızdan fedakarlık ediyoruz. * Mobilya sektöründe kayıtdışılık (bir kaç büyük marka hariç tutulursa) en az %50'dir. 50'den fazla işçi çalıştırdığı halde sadece 5'i sigortalı olan işletmeler biliyorum. Hükümetin en başta yaması gereken, işverenlere "2009'da sigorta primi ve vergiyi düşünmeyin. İşinizi ayakta tutmaya bakın" demek idi. Bu zamanında yapılsaydı kimse işçi çıkarmazdı. ÖTV indiriminin mobilya sektöründe bir etksi olmadı."
Bütün bunları, iktisatçı unvanı olmayan ama ekonominin gerçeklerine vakıf olduğuna güvendiğim bir esnafın ağzından, "tünel" aforizmasına ümit bağlayanlara atfediyorum.
